This fireplace had the original stone work including a keystone...think 1980's vibe, and not in a good way.
Having an all fridge without a freezer was a risky move, but it turned out amazing! The key is that the chest freezer had a hiding place a few steps away.
This "family room" was a small space that held hallways and doorways and could have been left improperly used. Proper placement and this space became one of the most used.
